Bright strawberry-like sweetness with delicate honey-like white tea finish
Yiwu(易武) is one of the most renowned Pu'er tea-producing regions in Yunnan and even all of China. This small village, located near the China-Laos border, is home to ancient tea trees that produce some of the finest Pu'er tea. Its unique microclimate, micro-topography, and microbial environment create ideal conditions for tea trees to grow and for tea leaves to ferment. Therefore, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that coffee farmers are also cultivating coffee there—if the region can produce exceptional tea, then its environment and soil must also be capable of producing outstanding coffee
This coffee did not disappoint us. Its pronounced sweetness and clean finish make it an incredibly enjoyable cup. Once again, it comes from our old friend Zeng, who skillfully incorporated naturally extracted fresh strawberry yeast into the fermentation process. As a result, this naturally processed coffee retains a clean profile while boasting a vibrant, juice-like aroma and abundant sweetness. It is truly a delightful coffee to enjoy everyday.
